Growing up studying the game's grandmasters, he's honed his own bewilderingly tight technical mixing skill that's creative, energetic, rife in references, drenched in dubs and inherently in demand: From his global DJ schedule of headline bookings to high profile live streams and mixes with UKF, Radio1, 1Xtra, Drum&BassArena, US outposts Bassrush & Insomnia and more, A.M.C's signature strong-arm selector style proceeds him and has led to multiple awards. Picking up Best Newcomer trophies within years of making himself known, his four-deck sets are regarded and respected as some of the very best... Literally: he's won Best DJ titles in both the Czech and Portuguese Drum & Bass Awards (beating both Andy C and Friction) and most recently he came third place behind Camo & Krooked and Andy C in the 2017 Drum&BassArena Awards, the scene's most authoritative and longstanding outpost. Recognition doesn't come any higher.

dBridge, aka Darren White, has been traversing the drum and bass scene since the early ’90s, perhaps most memorably spearheading the group Bad Company alongside Dj Maldini, Fresh and Vegas. But Darren’s musical interest is far more unconventional and far-reaching than we might expect. Since founding Exit Records in 2003, Darren has demonstrated a clear desire to move away from typical club style drum and bass sounds to more ambient and experimental soundscapes, turning away from the contemporary technology that dominates production today and returning to old school techniques, equipment and production styles.

Rødhåd has been socialized by Berlin’s looptechno nights and always finds the perfect balance of timeless techno to lift the dancefloor higher and higher. His style is always deep, powerful and melancholic – from dub to techno and back to house. Now an established force in contemporary Techno, Mike Bierbach, better known under his stage name Rødhåd is someone who has seriously put in the work. Having cut his teeth Djing as a relatively unnoted (but well loved by those in the know) local in Berlin for 10 years, one could argue that by the time success knocked on his door, he was more than ready for playing the international stage.
The Born On Road family grow stronger and stronger by the day and Selecta J-Man is integral to the development of their sound. BoR HQ is a busy hub of producers and DJs pushing to further the modern Drum & Bass Jungle sound and J-Man ties this all together with his team: Aries, Kelvin 373, Gold Dubs and Stivs. When Drum & Bass met Reggae it spawned a whole new field of interest for the new school of producers who were addicted to taking foundation Reggae music and marrying it with rolling Drum & Bass. It’s un-pretentious approach to reinventing the ideals of Reggae into something that the UK ravers could hold as theirs has shown once again that Drum & Bass will never die and Selecta J-Man is one of these producers who is working with the Reggae greats.
Special Request is the new rugged alias for house and techno stalwart Paul Woolford. Inspired by the unruly conventions of UK pirate radio stations, this project captures the raw energy and diversity of the illegal airwaves and uses this as a springboard of inspiration for a series of heavyweight productions that span from murky house through darkside techno to chaotic eye-of-the-storm hardcore/jungle tear-outs. The end results are incendiary.

Ben Sims is one of techno’s most exciting talents - a DJ who has stayed true to the genre’s funk, groove and electronic fused origins whilst continuing to embrace and nurture its development over the past 25 odd years. Schooled on a diet of Hip Hop, Reggae, Soul, House and Rave in the 80’s, he played a huge part in defining British dance music in the 90s and continues to be an ardent champion of new music, producers and DJs via his many nights, record labels, radio shows, podcasts and relentless touring endeavours. As a DJ, Sims commands your attention, both visually and musically with anything from 3 to 5 decks running near constantly and hands, faders, effects and EQs a blur as tunes overlap to create a dense and quickly evolving collage of sound. Whether playing to 50, 500 or 5000 this unbridled energy and commitment to the art of mixing never falters and shows why Sims is regarded as one of the true masters on the circuit, both a DJ’s DJ and a straight up party rocker in equal measures.
Here is a tinfoil garden. The music written by Joseph Richmond Seaton is a place of its own, a place you can fall and dissolve into. A twilight place where night meets day and the patterns of machines submit to the mucky honesty of life. This somewhere is built from music released under the names Call Super and Ondo Fudd, released on Incienso, The Trilogy Tapes, Hessle Audio, Houndstooth and increasingly the label he co-founded with Parris, can you feel the sun.

German electronic duo FJAAK produce driving, energetic dance tracks which range from reflective power house to storming warehouse techno, with occasional U.K. garage dub, and breakbeat hardcore influences. Gritty yet sensual, most of their tracks are composed entirely on analog equipment. Based in Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig had been making music together since childhood before they began producing techno as FJAAK during the late 2000s, while they were still teenagers. In 2021 they began to focus on their own labels: „FJAAK“ and „SPANDAU20“ which release schedules are tightly packed already!
The first superstar produced by the breakbeat jungle movement, Goldie popularized drum’n’bass as a form of musical expression just as relevant for living-room contemplation as techno had become by the early ’90s. Though he hardly developed the style, and his later reliance on engineers like Rob Playford and Optical to capture his sound puts into question his true musical importance, Goldie became one of the first personalities in British dance music, his gold teeth and b-boy attitude placing him leagues away from the faceless bedroom boffins who had become the norm in intelligent dance music. For the first time, England had a beat maestro and tough-guy head who could match the scores of larger-than-life hip-hop stars America had produced, and the high profile of drum’n’bass as the first indigenously British dance music made Goldie a figure of prime importance.
With a career that dates back to early UK hip-hop culture and late 80s chart exposure in Bristol crew Fresh 4, Full Cycle co-founder and all-round pioneer Krust takes us back to the foundations of hip-hop and b-boyism: Originality, creativity, authenticity, discipline and the art of being able to create something out of thin air. Whether that’s a dance move, a painting, a track or a lyric, you never re-tread old ground and always aim to set new benchmarks.
Berlin based DJ, producer and label owner Len Faki is one of the most outstanding and in-demand artists in techno's present age. They call him the Grim Reaper… Emerging through pirate stations such as Eruption FM and Underground FM, resident at seminal London raves such as Desire and Thunder & Joy, Loxy has been a formidable force in jungle drum & bass since the very beginning. The north London DJ’s reputation was galvanised in the mid 90s as he became an integral part of two UK D&B institutions; Metalheadz and Renegade Hardware. Resident at both label’s events – at cult venues such as Blue Note and The End – his ability to draw for darker, heavier dubplates than any of his peers was at the heart of the genre and culture’s acceleration. Stepping on after Loxy and 2Shy at The End was one of the gravest challenges any DJ could face during that time.
Just who is LTJ Bukem? Ground breaking DJ? Inspirational musician? Record label entrepreneur? Club visionary, perhaps? The man who took the drum and bass concept from a small venue off London's Charing Cross Road to the nation's superclubs and then onto the international stage….The geezer whose records launched breakbeat into a brand new galaxy of sound…. In truth, he is all of the above: a Renaissance man for a digital age. Although he wouldn't like to admit it, LTJ Bukem is the living embodiment of the post-acid house entrepreneurial creative spirit. He is a mild mannered energy flash whose panoramic musical vision has found success in every area he has explored. From running sound systems to cutting up breaks at raves, from relocating the heart of breakbeat culture to redefining the spirit of drum and bass, the man known to his friends as Danny has sat at the forefront of breakbeat evolution, lighting the way with little more than a zest for life and a love of the music.
Many musicians are genre-hoppers these days, but few have an inventive take on every style they touch. Objekt could be an exception to the rule. Born in Tokyo to British-American and Filipino parents, TJ Hertz grew up in Belgium and the UK before settling in Berlin in 2009, where he released his first record, the white-label Objekt #1, in 2011. Across his subsequent club output (on labels such as Hessle Audio, Leisure System, Power Vacuum and his own imprint) audacious sound design and meticulous arrangements have served to buckle and twist dancefloor conventions across a range of genres.
For over 15 years Paula Temple has been pursuing her own unique musical path. As a self-confessed noisician she specialises in a noisy, phantasmagoric techno sound, where the dial is rarely turned below 200% and every moment of silence seems deafening. Such refreshing high voltage music has placed Paula at the forefront of today's techno scene.
Roni Size’s whole life has been about building something new from whatever was around him. From Bristol youthclub parties, through the white heat of rave and the founding moments of jungle and drum’n’bass, to transforming underground electronic music into something that could be played by a live band on the biggest arena and festival stages, he has at each stage created completely afresh - not just a sound or style but an entire methodology of how music can be made. And each time, that new creation has reflected his heritage, his surroundings and the precise moment in which he’s operating.
There is something vivacious at the heart of Shanti Celeste's work, a bounce, a swing, an uplifting lilt. Her career to date has been characterised by a contemporary, U.K. take on the classic Motor City sound. The expansive, emotional visions of the early Techno pioneers are reflected in Celeste's open take to her craft. Her approach to production has leant her DJing a breath that has earned her a distinct enthusiasm amongst today's electronic music base. This freedom is reflected on the platforms she shares her craft through - her regular NTS Radio show, and more recently, her label Peach Discs. These outlets provide Shanti with a place to amplify talent she meets, hears and wants to help along the way. Dancing, and the music that gets us there, exists to uplift, and in her life and work, Shanti is the embodiment of an elevated state.
Not necessarily a techno dj...
